Hassett Hardware San Mateo continues a tradition of local hardware service that dates back more than 100 years. In 2009, Hassett Hardware acquired the historic Wisnom Hardware store, preserving one of downtown San Mateo’s longest-running businesses.
Originally opened as Wisnom-Bonner Hardware in 1905, the store served a growing Peninsula community with hardware, tools, building supplies and everyday essentials. Today, Hassett Hardware San Mateo continues that tradition by helping homeowners, renters, contractors and local businesses find the products, repair parts and expert advice they need to maintain, repair and improve their homes and properties.
Located at the corner of First Avenue and Delaware Street in downtown San Mateo, our store serves customers throughout San Mateo, Burlingame, Foster City, Hillsborough and the surrounding Peninsula communities.
